WATER DAYS 2025 - SAVE the date

SAVE the date for CMWS 2025!

The CMWS Water Days will take place from February 25th to 27th, 2025, at DESY, starting with the onsite registration on Tuesday, February 25th at 13:00, in the FLASH Seminar Room, building 28c.

Programme:

The workshop will start with a plenary session to provide updates on the status of CMWS, followed by a Science Session and Poster Session in the evening. The following two days will feature presentations of the ESP projects, as well as contributed talks and lectures by our invited speakers.  On Wednesday afternoon we will celebrate the signature of our founding CMWS Declaration with a festive Reception and an Inauguration Symposium. On the final day, we will conclude with optional pillar working meetings in the afternoon.

We are delighted to announce that the WATER DAYS will once again include a public evening lecture on Wednesday, February 26th, 2024, at 7 pm. The keynote speech (in German) “Die schnellsten molekularen Prozesse in Wasser” will be delivered by Robin Santra (DESY/CFEL). We kindly invite you to join us for this public evening lecture.

Please note that we offer a reduced conference fee for early registration:
• Early registration fee: 80 EUR (deadline: January 28, 2025)
• Late registration fee: 110 EUR (after January 28, 2025 until February 17, 2025)

 

Contributions

We kindly encourage you to contribute to this workshop by presenting your research results and interests to our community.
• Contributed talk:
Following the many great contributions from last year, we would again like to invite contributed talks (15+5 minutes) from all of you to further strengthen knowledge exchange and foster networking. To express your interest in giving a talk, please indicate this during the registration including your title by January 24, 2025. A scientific program committee will select and set up the program from these contributions.
• Poster:
If you would like to present a poster during our Poster Session on Tuesday evening, please provide your poster title the registration.
